What will your typical day look like?
This role is part of the global Enterprise Data Management team that maintains and executes robust data management practices for critical master data pertaining to entities (e.g., accounts, vendors, business relationships), people and reference data (taxonomy). Consistent and high quality data underpins the globalization of Deloitte activities, connecting data across a multitude of global and local systems. Due to critical activities based on relationship data, this role engages across risk, reporting and finance stakeholders, facilitating discussions with leaders to align on standards and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and optimizing processes to ensure quality of entity relationship data
- Drive practices to confirm the accuracy of entity relationship data within the Master Data Management platform and across multiple other Deloitte applications
- Lead efforts to engage stakeholders to align on requirements and standards, including those specific to complex entity relationships (e.g., private equity, parent-child, vendor, alliance partner)
- Work with geography leaders to maximize alignment of local and global requirements, such as hierarchies
- Partner with stakeholders to map entity relationship data used across applications to determine impacts of standards and processing expectations
- Define, plan and manage critical data projects across a spectrum of quality improvement initiatives
- Develop strategies to more proactively confirm timely data through validated sources including 3rd party providers
- Partner with technology team to deliver Master Data Management system enhancements to improve functionality
- Proactively identify issues and inconsistencies with current relationship data and facilitate agreement on resolutions
- Address ad hoc requests and escalations, responsively supporting stakeholder needs
- Develop requirements for measuring data quality and partner with team to create appropriate dashboards
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas of improvement for processes and standards
- Provide work direction to data management team on optimized execution of processes

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in database management systems (SQL Server), with Informatica experience a plus
- Proven experience with master data management concepts, standards and leading practices
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and reporting software
- Proven project management and process design skills
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with track record of effectively engaging internal stakeholders
- Fact-driven, organized and analytically-minded with strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in an environment with high-priority deadlines and with the expectation to flexibly adapt to change
- Ability to work effectively with teams spanning multiple global locations
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
Education:
- Must possess a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics or related field; minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 – $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
