Job role

In this role you will be part of a squad which will drive operational topics like data quality, data processing, and reporting on ESG Product Development.

 

What you will do

Data Quality

  • Incorporate a set of data quality verification measures throughout the process to elevate the overall excellence of the ESG products we provide
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish comprehensive data quality checks, ensuring that all relevant parties are involved in defining and refining the criteria for assessing data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Continuously collect and monitor data quality findings to promptly identify any discrepancies or issues that may arise within dataset, employing a proactive approach to ensure integrity and reliability of the data
  • Facilitate ongoing communication and alignment with stakeholders to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies in response to identified data quality issues
  • Trigger the 3rd level support when not able to resolve data quality issues

 

Data Processing

  • Deploy robust mechanisms and protocols to ensure the efficient and optimized execution of our processes
  • Execute additional data uploads in accordance with customer’s requirements
  • Supervise the data processing workflow diligently

 

Data Reporting

  • Provide support in creating regular ESG reports in PowerBI and IBM Cognos Analysis Studio
  • Enable customers and other stakeholders to get direct access to the data and/or provide them with the reports
  • Drive automations and continuous improvement & innovation initiatives

 

What you bring

  • Academic background in environmental sciences, environmental engineering,  sustainability, economics, statistics and/or any other data analysis related field
  • Experience in analytics and reporting; Skilled in applications and analytics of mass data
  • Basic experience in SQL Databases, or implementation of comparable data retrieval tools
  • Experience with PowerBI, IBM Cognos Analysis Studio
  • Understanding of ESG and its KPIs
  • Capital market, finance and/or investment management knowledge
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus), with good communication skills
  • Agile Certification or experience with an Agile environment
