ESG Internship / Working Student – Business Analytics / Data Science

Job Description

For our ESG Controlling Team we are looking for an additional member, who can be a full-time intern as well as staying with us longer term as a part-time working student. 

As we have multiple different projects to be covered in this area, we are able to offer interesting topics for students who are looking to gain some experience in fields such as; data science and business analysis, and other technical fields in order to create business applications and automate processes using the Microsoft Power Platform.  

Example assignments: 

• Support the ESG Controlling in the digitalization and automation journey by creating custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform. This involves designing and implementing underlying data models, data sources and the use of connectors.
• Data Science topics: Automation of ESG Reporting through automated, quarterly data quality reviews and workflows leveraging artificial intelligence where possible or suitable and workflow automations using Power Automate. Design and implement data models, data sources, and connectors.
• Business analyst, technical product owner: Understand and identify automation and business needs in area of ESG Reporting. Help develop and maintain required software in environments together with experienced colleague. Support in gathering requirement and create specifications for new business needs in the area of tools, software and business intelligence.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of: 

• Experience with No/low application platform as well knowledge in coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and PowerFX. Knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint.
• Understanding of data modeling, databases, and SQL.
• Knowledge of APIs and connectors for integrating with other systems especially using Microsoft Power Platform
• A good understanding of Microsoft technology stacks for application development, automation, data analysis, etc.

Soft skills: 

• Willingness to learn. 
• Enjoyment of problem solving. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• English language is needed, German/Spanish knowledge is advantage.
