Job Description
Will implement evaluation plans and related collaborative projects that measure the clinical, community, and financial impact of internal and external programs and projects. Will work closely with senior and peer teammates on the Impact Evaluation & Grants Management (IEGM) and Health Equity Analytics (HEA) teams to gather, manage, and analyze data, and contribute to the creation of insightful reports and visualizations as a key capability and shared service for the Advocate National Center for Health Equity (ANCHE) under the leadership of the Manager of Impact Evaluation Operations. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of program evaluation, data collection, management, and analysis, and a passion for improving health outcomes through data-driven insights.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assists Senior Evaluation Scientists with development of evaluation strategies to measure clinical, community, and financial impact of internal and external projects
- Designs and implements data collection procedures and protocols (quantitative and qualitative) using available technology platforms and monitors data quality
- Integrates data from multiple sources to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Develops data definitions and maintains appropriate code books, validation reporting, and other methodological records to ensure alignment between evaluation and grant management functions
- Prepares and presents results to both internal and external stakeholders through written reports and visualizations, serving as a key member of the project team
- Creates visual representations of data, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to effectively communicate findings to specified audiences
- Identifies key insights from analyses to inform decision making, operations, and strategy
- Responsible for managing and adhering to project reporting deadlines related to evaluation including status updates for funders, internal, and external stakeholders
- Communicates effectively and collaborates with all stakeholders to support a unified, multi-professional approach to service delivery

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Data Science, or other health related field.
Experience Required:
- Minimum two years of experience in program evaluation, health services data analytics and/or community-based research with demonstrated ability to utilize data for problem solving and decision-support.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong interpersonal relationship and presentation skills necessary
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate data
- Experience working with clinical or related healthcare data
- Ability to manage and prioritize requests of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to communicate across varying levels of technical knowledge
- Adaptability based on changing needs of the organization
- Strong customer service orientation and aptitude for learning new analytics tools
- Knowledge – moderate understanding of the use of quantitative and qualitative evaluation, data, analytics, and research methods of program evaluation
- Knowledge – basic understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies, the data warehouse, data management processes, and statistical tests used in evaluation, research analysis, and outcomes
- Knowledge – moderate proficiency in written and oral communication, presenting results and data to a wide variety of audiences, translation and engagement of stakeholders around evaluation planning and execution.
