Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 3) to join our Business Intelligence team in Everett, Washington.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation & support of our data systems, as well as leading deep dive analysis. You will work closely with business users, the Data team, and data analysts to design and implement architecture, tools, and processes needed to provide “single source of truth” reports to support data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate is a proficient at working with large data sets, comfortable working in an agile environment, has experience working with UIs that make data accessible and consumable, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and above all, is passionate about data and analytics.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Develop data solutions end-to-end, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to partnering with Data team and other analysts to implement

  • Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business KPIs from scratch, leveraging SQL queries and beyond

  • Build ETLs, automations to ensure we can understand and act on business performance accurately, scalable, with low latency, and minimal manual upkeep

  • Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards – using Cognos, Tableau or other tools – to surface business performance and scalable support data-driven decision making

  • Ensure data quality always meets our standards, by monitoring performance, diagnosing issues, and creating solutions

  • Answer complex business questions via ad-hoc SQL queries to enable business owners to make critical decisions

  • A talent for building intuitive and actionable Cognos/Tableau dashboard and data visualizations that drive business decisions.

  • Data-driven and highly analytical – you’re able to translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at an executive level

  • Self-starter – you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered, constantly prioritizing your work amongst several projects

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics.

  • 3+ years of experience working with databases.

  • 3+ years of experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling.

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.).

  • 3+ years of experience working with large scale data systems and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile, Scaled Agile, Framework or related frameworks.

  • 3+ years of experience working in a software development environment.

  • 3+ years of experience telling stories via data visualizations.

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience, 9 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $94,350 – $127,650
