Financial Analyst (m/f/d) – Focus on Power BI

We are looking for a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) with a focus on Power BI, based in Munich. 

The Impact You Will Have 

Reporting to the Head of Reporting and Process, you will drive the transformation of the financial reporting towards self-service reporting. In your role, you will understand and develop KPIs which are relevant for business steering and performance management. Your tasks will also include understanding reporting requirements (IFRS 17) and driving implementation of new reports in PowerBI. You will share best practices, increase efficiencies and set global standards. Moreover, you will manage agile projects and implement initiatives. 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Build and maintain dashboard with financial and non-financial KPI’s in Power BI 

• Improve and automate financial reporting  

• Collaborate closely with all teams in the area of Chief Finance Office (CFO) and IT to design and implement new reports  

• Understand requirements under IFRS 17 for financial reporting and design new reports in Power BI 

• Run monthly reporting in Power BI  

• Contribute to projects  

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, or any other related discipline or qualified by experience 

• Proven work experience in setting up financial reporting systems  

• Professional experience in financial planning and analyzes  

• Advanced expertise in Power BI and other BI tools 

• Expertise in SAP BW, SAC Planning, SAC Reporting  

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills  

• Exposure to agile project management  

• Ideally, experience in Controlling 

• Ideally, skills in insurance accounting (IFRS 17)  

• Fluent English skills are required, German skills are a plus
