Job role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to become part of our team.The individual will be part of a global squad and responsible for analyzing data, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data, extracting insights to support the decision-making of fund and insurance companies in the process of fulfilling their legally requirements, considering the annual fund reports and various directives.
What will you do
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain data quality standards and processes to support reliable data analysis
• Controlling and quality checks of ongoing data flow processes
• Create reports, test changes, business 2nd level support
• Perform process monitoring, data quality checks, overwrites and manual adjustments
• Uploading of different types of data, Organizing translation processes
• Performing daily and monthly monitoring processes
• Triggering and controlling implemented analytic processes
• Producing, checking, and distributing reports and documents
• Identification, evaluation, and implementation of potential optimization and automatization within your area
What you bring
• Strong academic background (preferably Investments, Capital Markets, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics)
• Good ability to interact with different stakeholders
• Fundamental knowledge of capital markets (basic know-how about portfolio, funds, main financial instruments)
• Experience in analytics and reporting; Skilled in applications and analytics of mass data
• Basic experience in working with relational SQL Databases, or implementation of comparable data retrieval tools and PowerBI
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, VBA is an advantage
• Finance and IT affinity and process-oriented thinking
• Fluent in English
• CFA Institute or similar diplomas are a plus
• Agile Certification or experience with an Agile environment is nice to have
