Title: Financial Data Analyst
Location: Mountain View, CA – Hybrid 2 -3 days/week onsite
Long-term project. Full-Time.

Job Overview:
Our client looking for a skilled Financial Data Analyst to enhance our Project Financial Management Platform. This role requires advanced Excel expertise, strong data reconciliation skills, a solid financial background, and excellent communication abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and system requirements, focusing on financial processes and data flows.
  • Data Reconciliation & Analysis: Conduct thorough data reconciliation to ensure accuracy across platforms, particularly during financial month-end close.
  • System Design & Configuration: Configure platform settings, workflows, and permissions to align with financial requirements and user needs.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and run test cases, conduct user acceptance testing, and address system issues to maintain data integrity.
  • Deployment & Support: Lead platform deployment, monitor performance, and provide user support, including training sessions and user documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement financial process enhancements to drive efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistic, Finance or related filed. 
  • 4+ years in Financial Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, or Data Analysis, with a strong financial background.
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex data analysis, using functions and formulas to solve financial data challenges.
  • Proficient in data reconciliation and financial data integrity practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for stakeholders.
  • SQL skills is a plus.
