As a Game Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our game by analysing player behaviour and providing insights to the development team. You will work closely with our design, production, and publishing teams to identify key metrics, create dashboards, and generate reports that inform decision-making and drive improvements. Your ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights will contribute to the ongoing success of our game.

Key Duties Include

  • Analyse game data to identify player behaviour patterns, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and game metrics
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize game features and systems based on data analysis
  • Work with the marketing team to evaluate the impact of promotional campaigns and user acquisition strategies
  • Generate actionable recommendations based on data insights to drive game improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game data analysis

Requirements

  • Experience as a game data analyst or similar role in the gaming industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL or other query languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate meaningful insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passion for games and understanding of game mechanics
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, computer science) or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, R)
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies
