The Firmwide Generative AI Team at Morgan Stanley is a dynamic and innovative department that serves as a center of AI enablement for the firm. The team is responsible for deploying advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence to optimize business processes. The team oversees governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. The team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and providing education on AI technologies to other departments within the company.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Program Manager to join our Firmwide AI team. As the key driver of our Awareness and Education program, you will play a crucial role in promoting AI literacy across the entire firm. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee program milestones, and contribute to the growth of AI understanding and adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Design and Management: Lead the design, planning, execution, and monitoring of the AI Awareness and Education program, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and budget.
Content Development: Manage the development of engaging and informative content for the AI literacy program, ensuring it is relevant, up-to-date, and accessible to all employees.
Strategic Change Management & Transformation: Leverage your experience in large-scale change management to drive the adoption of AI literacy across the firm, addressing any resistance and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
KPI and Objective Management: Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the AI literacy program, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to drive alignment and synergy on AI literacy program.
Communication Strategy: Partner with our corporate comms teams to develop and execute internal communication plans to keep the organization informed about training opportunities, upcoming events, and other relevant updates. Play a key role in coordinating communications across the department, in line with corporate communication standards.
Employee Engagement: Contribute to the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
Risk Management: Ensure all training content and programs comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant guidelines.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage senior strategic relationships and communicate strategic goals and outcomes of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience rolling out large scale training or change management programs at a large complex organization
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly in the areas of Generative AI, machine learning and/or data analytics.
  • Understanding of AI concepts and tools, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a face-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying updated in the latest advancements in AI technologies and training methods.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
