Global Consumer Claims Analytics Product Owner
Job Description
- Define and deliver consumer claims AI and analytics capabilities while aligning with overall business objectives and industry trends.
- Leverage advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning and AI, to identify opportunities for process optimization and customer experience enhancement.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop solutions to deliver cost savings and operational efficiency. Work closely with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality analytic products. Prioritize product features and functionalities based on business value and customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, claims adjusters, and IT teams. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for AI and analytics initiatives.
- Work closely with IT teams to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of AI and analytics solutions into the existing infrastructure. Oversee the development and deployment of data pipelines, APIs, and other technical components.
- Monitor model performance and address any technical issues or bottlenecks. Collaborate with IT to establish robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Manage change management processes and communicate effectively with IT teams to minimize disruptions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on claims data.
- Strong understanding of property & casualty insurance concepts and claims processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, data visualization tools). Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in insurance preferred.
- Knowledge of APIs and cloud-based data platforms and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
