Summary of the Role:
The Global Data Management Specialist provides support for employee master data maintenance and records management service inquiries requiring specialized knowledge and capabilities. Acts as the main contact for HR customer inquiries and manages the resolution of all initial support requests.
The role is accountable for data integrity, service quality, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and continuous improvement of all inquiries to maintain accurate employee master data for the assigned region in our core Human Capital Management system and support our customers to achieve business results.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Updating our Core HR system with associated employee data changes, including all employee life-cycle changes, promotions, terminations etc. in line with global procedures to ensure data integrity.
- Working with the Talent Acquisition team to assist with new hire data activity globally.
- Partnering with HR Specialists to set up and maintain organizational structures in our core HCM to align with business needs.
- Resolving data entry issues to resolution.
- Validating that associated system integrations and data feeds work appropriately (e.g., transmission of data to downstream system feeds)
- Creating and administering HR audit and compliance processes to validate data entry.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and timeliness of data delivery.
- Ensuring SLA’s are met and Quality is maintained in processing transactions
- Performing key processes within our HR Management System such as but not limited to
- Acquisitions and Divestitures data integration
- Mass uploads of data
- Maintains non-employee data entries/updates/terminations.
- Maintaining and completing updates as needed to the knowledge base documentation and FAQs
- Supporting training on our core HCM for our global HR system users.
- Leading and/or participating in Global HR Leveraged Services projects or other special projects.
- Secure and keep employee data confidential as per Lubrizol security policy and data privacy requirements.
Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
Education / Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management or business administration,
- Data analytics, statistics or similar certification (preferred)
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years in Global HR Operations and Shared Services environment (preferred)
- High orientation and experience with HR systems (such as SAP-HCM (preferred) BOBJ, SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, etc.)
- Experience of trouble shooting systems and MS Office products (required)
- Systems Savvy (strong knowledge of systems; successfully manages case load and meets KPIs)
- Interpersonal Savvy (ability to interact with others with respect and empathy)
- Clearly and succinctly communicates in a variety of settings and styles
- Composure (works well under pressure)
- Demonstrates ability to handle confidential/sensitive data with discretion
- Listening (attentive and effective processing of verbal information), including active listening
- Problem Solving (identifies, defines and assesses problems and formulates and/or implements recommendations)
