Job Description

This is a full-time, permanent, back-office, bilingual position based in Costa Rica and does not offer relocation benefits. Job applicants must be located and legally authorized to work in Costa Rica in order to be eligible for consideration.

Global Ops Artificial Intelligence (GO-AI), Join a professional organization who handles video monitoring activities in Fulfillment Centers globally. Our teams remotely monitor activities in a back-office environment to support Machine Learning technology, acting as a human-as-sensor model allowing humans to perform tasks that require higher cognitive abilities.

Our essential function in GO AI is to improve decision-making technologies by providing remote human support and solutions while focusing on developing talent to deliver high quality results.

Tasks that required greater cognitive capacities such as sustained attention, speed of information processing, pattern recognition will be perform by our associates who deliver results with high confidence.

Key job responsibilities
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Review image/videos – tagging activities on videos with durations of 10 seconds or shorter. It is expected to answer an approximate of 1200 such jobs in a working day, which needs nearly 6.8 to 7 hours of screen time. Analyze thoroughly and provide the best response based on your judgment and knowledge gather in your training process.
– Meets predetermined and assigned productivity and quality standard targets.
– Responsible for reviewing video content continuously during working schedule. This position requires ability to capture details within different types of digital content what make visual capability a requirement.
– Understand and follow up on performance metrics and process requirements to drive business results in live environment.
– Able to perform repetitive tasks on a daily basis.
– Perform labeling/annotation tasks with accuracy, speed and efficiency on videos that could be less sharp, blurry and hence answering the jobs would need high level of attention & focus on the screen.
– Demonstrates willingness to support several projects at one time, and to accept re-prioritization as necessary, which may include schedule flexibility depending on business needs.
– Understand and adhere to SOP’s and other Amazon policies.
– Able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information to the relevant owners/teams/managers, according to processes and standards.
– Analyze and detect exceptions.
– Constantly contribute to process improvement.
– During peak and non-peak times, the incoming volume fluctuates throughout the weeks. This might initiate a need of over time during specific sections of the day and holidays, over time will be paid.

A day in the life
– Job applicants must be able to work with digital image/video content during shifts of 40h per week (8h per day).

About the team
Prior applying, please consider the following:
– This is not a virtual position. If selected for this role you will be required to work from our SJO19 building, located in the America Free Zone (AFZ), Cariari, Heredia.
– Training is fully paid.
– Training schedule is from Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, for a total duration of two (2) weeks (tentative to extend if required) since your Start Date. After training, all new-hires will transition to their assigned respective Onboarding and Production schedules.
– Our Onboarding and Production Schedules are *assigned* based on business needs and global organizational demands. All candidates are requested to have schedule flexibility as shifts can be between 6:00am to 9:00pm local time and work on weekends if necessary, overtime and/or holidays.
– Candidates must be able to guarantee schedule flexibility in order to apply.
– Night and “graveyard” shifts are not available at this time.
– As per Amazon Policy, this posting is available for external candidates only (not currently working at Amazon).
– The monthly gross pay range (before deductions) is CRC 514,000.00. In addition to a full range of transportation, medical, financial, and other corporate benefits.

Basic Qualifications

– High School diploma.
– 6+ months of working experience in corporate environments [AND/OR] volunteering, TCU, internship or university professional practice.
– B1 English proficiency or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with MS Office tools and internet browsing.
– Experience in peer coaching, mentoring, and/or training, etc.
– Able to work with digital image/video content.
