About us: Prague is one of the most beautiful European cities as well as the cultural and economic heart of Central Europe. Almost 140 QuidelOrtho employees are supporting the following functions within EMEA Shared Services: Customer Service and Finance team, People & Culture and GIS team. What you’ll be doing in your new role:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business needs.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Create and maintain efficient data models and visualizations for effective storytelling and analysis.

  • Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security by implementing best practices in data handling and governance.

  • Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for existing reports and dashboards.

  • Work closely with the Data and Analytics team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.

  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance reporting processes and efficiencies.

Interactions:

  • Regularly collaborate with business units, IT teams, and key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and align solutions with organizational objectives.

  • Engage with data engineers and database administrators to ensure seamless data integration and availability.

  • Partner with end-users to provide training and guidance on using Power BI tools and functionalities effectively.

The individual:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related

  • field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-5 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ETL processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-

  • technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including custom visuals and embedding

  • solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles.

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with technical

  • and non-technical teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced

  • environment.
