Job Description
Join us as Global Treasury and Data Analytics Intern at our international headquarters in Amsterdam, starting in September 2024. In this internship, you will gain practical experience by providing support to the Treasury Front Office. You will also learn about international financial markets and enhance your strategic financial decision-making skills.
Your key activities will be:
- Assisting in building an optimized cashflow forecasting process
- Creating custom BI dashboards using modern data visualization tools (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.)
- Supporting the Treasury Front Office in managing global liquidity and cash management.
- Analyzing cash balances and FX exposures to propose adequate actions that reduce risks and maximize returns, including by identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions
- Contributing to ongoing Treasury projects focused on process optimization and automation

Qualifications
Are you bursting with fresh ideas and a hunger for learning? We want you!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Academic Program: You are enrolled in a MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably a MSc in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Econometrics, or a related field.
- Skillset: You demonstrate fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and exhibit a strong interest in Finance. Proficiency in Excel is essential, with a solid understanding of functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and SUM-IFs as the bare minimum. Experience in coding/scripting, data visualization, and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPlatform would be highly advantageous.
- Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 6 months to this internship, preferably from the 2nd of September to February.
- Availability: You can join the internship for 4-5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

- Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet’s.
- You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
