The Practice – A Brief Sketch
The Strategy & Consulting Global Network Song practice is aligned to the Global Network Song Practice of Accenture and works with clients across their marketing, sales and services functions.
You will be part of the Dashboarding & Research Operations team which has been established over the last 2 years and you will support the next phase of growth. The overarching goal of the visualisation team is to drive digital delivery, design, data quality and best in class digital user experiences.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be working closely with internal stakeholders across our partner teams to provide support on dashboard specifications, design proposals, timelines, costings, process documentation and most importantly the technical build of dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, Harmoni or other platforms. You will be working very closely with our Data Visualization Consultants who will train and mentor your before you become more and more independent.
This role would suit an ambitious candidate with at least 1-3 years’ background in market research, data analytics or design. The ideal candidate will be highly personable and a strong relationship builder. You must be comfortable dealing with internal researchers and external clients for our digital data delivery.
The candidate must have a good understanding of market research data structure, data calculations and manipulations in R, SPSS, Excel, Python or other relevant tools.
The role is split into the following main areas and you will drive the following:
Dashboard Design & Build

Maintenance and updating of dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI, Harmoni, or other platforms.

Maintenance and updating of PowerPoint report automation using VBA scripts or Python.

Wireframe check and review of data specs.
-
Dashboard technical build in Tableau, PowerBI, Harmoni, or other platforms.
-
PowerPoint report automation using VBA or Python.
-
Testing dashboard user experience.
Data File Set Up & Data Processing
-
Initial data checks, usability of data, reshaping of data.

Understanding of data files and data structures.
-
Analytics of data: transforming, reshaping, and creating calculations and data manipulations.

Data checking, quality control, and testing of UX experience.
Skills to excel at the role:

Extensive experience working within a consulting firm providing strategic advice and solutions to organizations.

Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to drive results-oriented decisions.

Strong understanding of marketing processes and operating models.

Additional skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proven success in navigating global matrixed environments and/or experience in client-facing roles.

Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual, fast-paced, and unstructured global environment.
Tools / Technical Skills Required:

Deep understanding and knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI.

Knowledge of data calculations and manipulations using R, Python, or Power Query, Tableau Prep.

Good understanding of using data in Q, SPSS, Excel.

Good understanding of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).

Basic understanding (or strong interest in learning) of PowerPoint report automation using VBA or Python.

Interest in process automation using MS Co-Pilot / UiPath / Python.

Understanding of Snowflake and data structures is beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience

Ambitious candidate with at least 1-3 years of experience in market research, data analytics, or design.

Tertiary education in a related discipline plus experience in the market research industry.
