Job Description:
We are looking for passionate individuals to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient GPU architectures for AI and HPC for Intel – a promising engineer with the potential to grow into a software architecture role.
Key Responsibilities:

Developing new emerging AI and SciML/HPC workloads for next generation GPU compute platform

Workload analysis in the full software stack and SW/HW co-design

Performance debugging to identify bottlenecks and drive resolution through hardware and/or software fixes

Develop highly optimized GPU kernels and software stack and work with partner teams to help deliver high performance solutions

Assess new SW/HW innovations and drive the most relevant into the GPU Architecture definition
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
-
MS or PhD in Computer Science, EE or Mathematics with 2-3 years of experience in GPU/CPU/AI Architecture for AI workloads
Nice to have:
-
Knowledge/Experience in OpenCL/CUDA/Metal/SyCL or other such parallel programming APIs
-
Experience/Knowledge in Machine Learning/Deep Learning and experience with frameworks like Pytorch, or similar desirable
-
Experience/Knowledge in the areas of low-precision numerical formats and numerical analysis, emerging AI and SciML/HPC workloads, and/or MLIR compiler or Triton compiler

Building analytical and/or simulation-based performance models and in Performance Analysis/Perf Debug

Should have an aptitude to learn new things quickly in this fast-changing domain and flexibility to work on any mix of the above roles as needed

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
