Join AECOM’s 2024 Graduate Program!
Role Overview
Our 2024 Graduate Program offers the chance for a dynamic and highly motivated Graduate Data Analyst to join AECOM’s Buildings team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be at the forefront of exploring and implementing process automation to enhance our project delivery processes. As a key member of the Buildings team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of digital innovation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Process Automation:
• Evaluate existing processes and identify areas for automation to improve efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement automated tools and workflows to optimize project delivery tracking and reporting.
Data Analysis and Visualization:
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL.
• Analyze data and create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards (In Power BI) to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data sets to answer questions or solve problems.
• Find trends, patterns, and insights in data and communicate findings and recommendations.
• Continuously monitor and improve data quality
Collaboration and Training:
• Liaise with Project Management, Project controls, HR and IT to process information and turn insights into actions.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and provide technical support for automation and reporting tools.
• Conduct training sessions to ensure team members are proficient in using tools and technologies.
Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning
• Collaborate with all teams to identify opportunities for AI integration within the buildings + Places business lines processes.
• Support the develop and implement of AI solutions to streamline data analysis, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in Data Analytics, Engineering, and process automation.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
- As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
Desirable Criteria:
- Strong understanding in Microsoft M365, Power Platform and Azure.
- Advantageous to have Microsoft Certifications.
- Strong interest in the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning algorithms, and process automation.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
