About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced leader to head our Data Science & Analytics team, within our Treasury department. As the Head of Treasury Data Science & Analytics, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving data-driven growth decisions and innovative solutions that align with our mission. The position is hybrid onsite in our London office, with a global team and regular travel to Seattle.

You Will:

  • As Head of Treasury Analytics & Data Science, you will be responsible for the following:Data Strategy and Innovation
    • Develop and implement the overall analytics strategy for the Treasury department
    • Break down complex data and analytics concepts into digestible information for leadership , product and the wider business to increase our teams impact
    • Advance the existing machine learning models to improve our predictive capabilities focused on our FX Trading , partner pre-funding and cash management
    • Build the analytics and insights needed to support the financial risk management framework of the company (e.g. Liquidity, FX, Credit)
    • Create and own metrics and tools that generate insights that guide strategy and daily operations

    Strategic Partnership

    • Collaborate closely within Treasury to drive priorities and build data-backed conviction
    • Forge strong partnerships across product, engineering, and operating teams
    • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics for process optimization and automation across our business

    Leadership and Team Development

    • Build and lead a high-performing team of 3-6 analysts
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
    • Ensure rigorous and timely delivery of analytical projects

You Have:

  • Proven experience leading data science or analytics teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in financial analytics, preferably in treasury or risk management
  • Experience in building reporting for senior leaders combined with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex insights into actionable recommendations
  • Expertise in data visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning
  • Track record of driving data-driven decision making at a strategic level
  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous, high-growth environment
  • Educational background in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance or equivalent
