Job Description

We are looking for an Analyst to join our HLI business group in Bangalore. The team performs research and develop content pertaining to United States market access, specifically analysis of national managed care organizations. Analyzes data gathered from secondary research to produce in-depth qualitative analysis for decision-makers within the biopharmaceutical industries.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

  • Master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/biotechnology is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience o in healthcare company analysis, market research, or US market access is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English.
  • Interest in writing for business/professional audience
  • Excellent writing skills. Able to distil complex information and strategies cogently on short turnaround.
  • Understanding of market access issues and market research processes
  • Solid understanding of US healthcare marketplace and government programs such as Medicaid, Medicare
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work with other analysts, experience working on multiple projects under tight deadlines, and great attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • SQL, Python, and Tableau skills a plus

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Learn the complex US Health Insurance Industry and employer market through attending training sessions, studying, researching and reading
  •  Collect health insurance, PBM and employer data and using secondary research methods. 
  • Management of data collection and quality control of a portfolio of managed care organizations and or state agencies.  Has developing knowledge of the portfolio including market level enrollment, pharmacy information and industry trends. 
  • Maintains relationships with external data sources like managed care organization respondents and or state contacts to obtain information and data.  Assists in respondent or contact questions to obtain a high-quality source data. 
  • Gathers, analyzes, and develops estimations on secondary data/ research using various sources such as state department websites, press releases, company websites and other credible published sources.  Works with other Senior analyst and directors on any data questions or concerns. 
  • Conducts company quality checks in the verification and validation process.  Follows a documented written process to produce consistent high-quality data.  The validation process is quality control of peer work in obtain highest possible data elements.  Be comfortable with other peers questioning work completed. 
  • Research client questions and provides analysis to Director, Sales and Client Experience teams.  Assist in any changes, updates, or follow-up if necessary due to the client input. 
  • Development other Ad-Hoc research projects and request from Director and clients.

Hours of Work  

45 hours in a week as an FTE. Mon- Friday (12:00PM IST to 9:00PM IST) Hybrid work mode
