Job Description

The HR Data Analyst supports the entire HR function and will be a critical driver behind data integrity, policy development, precision & maintenance, and leveraging technology to elevate operational, business, and people analytics initiatives. Their role will support the Total Rewards Leader in providing business intelligence to the HR function, with a special focus on process optimization and Dayforce configuration enhancements. This role will also be accountable for developing and implementing methodologies to identify trends, providing insights to support data-driven decision-making, tracking metrics for KPI reporting, and evaluating the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Manage and prioritize reporting and data analysis requests from leadership specific to HR data.
  • Share existing HR metrics with stakeholders and work towards creating new, relevant reports and dashboards that are easily accessible to leaders, managers and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance and cross-functional teams to assist in various projects.
  • Conduct intermediate to advanced data analysis using basic statistical techniques by leveraging Dayforce reporting and analytics.
  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to HR and business leaders.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and analyses.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based upon data analysis to support HR initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation, policies and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technology and best practices in Dayforce, HR analytics and data management.

KEY COMPETENCIES / WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI or other statistical software.
  • Advanced understanding of statistical methods and their application in HR analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, strategic thinking, and ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and data visualization in PowerPoint.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with functional HR systems or HRIS experience.
  • Recent experience with Dayforce is a must.
  • Food manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
