Beyond Gravity also uses its space knowledge for applications outside of space technology: The high-precision products have already been used in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years.
The Human Resource Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated areas. This position carries out responsibilities with a focus on our Launchers division in Decatur, AL.
Job Responsibilities:
• Is the first point of contact of any HRIS including SAP SuccessFactors related technical queries.
• Supports Beyond Gravity’s digital transformation projects, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, including local system interfaces.
• Supports and coordinates the relevant SLA, Licenses, and supplier contracts in collaboration with Procurement, Benefits and Corp. IT.
• Maintains well organized documentation; tracking and following up the deployed systems/modules and their usage.
• Supports record retention policy in line with data protection compliance; is the data protection champion.
• Monitors system status, proactively resolves issues and acts as trusted support agent. Trains end-users as requested.
• Supports any other project management and administrative tasks related to HR Systems, Reports & Processes within Beyond Gravity.
• Coordinates invoices relevant to the HR Systems and benefits.
• Analyzes HR and compensation and benefits data and prepares reports and presentations.
• Is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities.
• Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff.
• Works with Human Resources personnel to evaluate HRIS software and hardware needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands.
• Works with payroll and its personnel to coordinate retrieval and reporting functions. May serve as HR department liaison to MIS/IT function.
• Compiles HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs.
• Designs and manages employee surveys and exit interviews.
• Supports global HR initiatives particularly as it relates to systems and data.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in the field of human resources, computer science, or business administration.
• At least 5 years of experience Human Resources Data Analytics.
• 1-2 years of experience in the field of Human Resources Information Systems (Core Employee Data, Goal and Performance, Recruitment modules-ideally in SuccessFactors) and Learning Management Systems.
• Proficient usage of MS Office, particularly Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc).
• Basic data analysis and data management.
• Managing complex situations with multiple stakeholders in a multinational environment.
• Experience in the handling of confidential personal and other HR data.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
