DescriptionADP is hiring for an Implementation Technical Lead III to be based out of our Schaumburg, IL, location. The Implementation Tech Lead (ITL) is the primary escalation point for all implementation issues. The ITL provides internal advisory-level consulting expertise to Implementation Specialists, Implementation Consultants, and Project Managers and external support to clients on complex implementation processes and/or multi-product implementation projects.

ITLs provide extensive product knowledge, problem resolution, troubleshooting and technical support of the implementation process. The ITL is the key internal project resource for ADP when rolling out new workforce management solutions, features and/or updates. An ITL is aligned as the point person for all process-related, non-technical, and technical issues impacting roll out of new features. RESPONSIBILITIES:Client Issue/Resolution ManagementHandles escalated implementation issues and performs an advisory role, consulting with Implementation Specialists, Implementation Consultants, and Implementation Project Managers.

Troubleshoots hardware, software and transmission errors. Interfaces with Corporate Technical Support and/or other business units to coordinate resolution and resources, and keeps Implementation Team updated.

Identifies escalation point and resources for issue resolution. Often interfaces with Client technical support to coordinate integration of ADP products and systems to avoid and/or resolve technical issues. Internal Technical ConsultingCoordinates responses to critical client situations with other organizations.

Utilizes extensive product/process experience to troubleshoot implementation issues. Identifies resolution and communicates steps to Implementation Team. Ensures resolution carried out in line with World Class quality standards.

Process/Standardization ConsultingDevelops and implements Implementation department processes to improve accuracy and quality of starts. Promotes standardization and reinforcement of the “OneADP” framework.

Communications ConsultingDevelops and maintains effective, proactive relationships and communications with internal and external clients to contribute to a successful overall client experience. Associate Development/MentoringPrioritizes critical issues and identifies training needs for Implementation associates in order to develop and/or coordinate delivery tools. Provides complex technical expertise and guidance to Implementation field.

. Provides input to leaders on implementation associate performance. Mentors new and less tenured Implementation associatesParticipates in task forces, strategic initiatives, acquisitions, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities.

Functional Initiative & Roll-out ChampioningCollaborates with Product and other stakeholders to facilitate successful rollout of new products, features or updates. Ensures accurate and timely communication and execution of rollouts. Business PartnershipCouncil/Task Force Subject Matter ExpertiseAs a subject matter expert (SME), participates in departmental or BU task force teams and councils that focus on developing and strengthening “Smart Standards” and collaboration opportunities with other BU’s.

Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Education: Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. Experience:ADP Payroll experience in client support, technical support or high-level Implementation roleDeep expertise and knowledge of Mainframe payroll, WFN and tax systemsPreference will be given to candidates who have the following:NextGen subject matter expertise highly preferred.
