Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Informatica Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions using Informatica for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and Power BI for data visualization and reporting. This role requires deep knowledge of data modeling, report/dashboard creation, and ETL processes to provide business insights and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 

    •        ETL Development:

          •  Design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes using Informatica to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.

          •  Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all data platforms.

          •  Optimize ETL performance and resolve issues related to data loads and transformations.

    •        Data Modeling:

          •  Develop and maintain complex data models to support business reporting needs.

          •  Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL and reporting.

    •        Power BI Development:

          •  Create, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various business functions.

          •  Implement data visualization best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and insights.

          •  Ensure that Power BI reports are optimized for performance and scalability.

    •        Collaboration:

          •  Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business objectives and design solutions.

          •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility, integrity, and analytics.

          •  Provide support and training to end users on how to use the developed Power BI dashboards and reports effectively.

    •        Data Management & Governance:

          •  Ensure adherence to data governance policies, data security, and best practices.

          •  Maintain documentation of ETL and reporting processes for future reference and audits.

Required Qualifications

 

     •        2+ years of experience in ETL development using Informatica.

    •        2+ years of experience in developing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.          

   

Preferred Qualifications

 

    •        Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, SSRS, or Qlik.

    •        Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

  •    Knowledge of SAP Datasphere is a plus.

    •        Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data processing.

    •        Certification in Informatica or Power BI is an added advantage.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

    •        Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices.

    •        Experience in working with data warehouses, databases, and data lakes.

    •        Solid understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query in Power BI.

    •        Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.

    •        Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 – $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
