We are looking for a motivated Data Analyst Intern who will play a crucial role in establishing a comprehensive data structure from scratch and creating interactive dashboards to analyze and visualize customer data pertaining to medical devices in the realms of blood and cell technologies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics within the healthcare sector and contribute directly to impactful projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Data Structure Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a scalable and efficient data structure tailored to the requirements of medical devices in the global blood management business.
- Clean, organize, and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop strategies for data normalization, standardization, and integration from various sources.
Dashboard Development:
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to design and build interactive dashboards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into intuitive dashboard designs.
- Create dynamic visualizations and reports to effectively communicate insights derived from customer data.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the customer data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and marketing to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the interpretation of data findings and communicate actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document the data structure, dashboard designs, and data analysis methodologies for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations to update stakeholders on project developments and findings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, statistics, or data science preferred. We will consider students that have recently completed their bachelor’s degree within one year of this posting.
- Students pursuing a master’s degree will be considered.
Experience
No prior experience required.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for healthcare and eagerness to contribute to advancements in medical technology.
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Onsite at our Lakewood, Colorado global headquarters.

Target Pay Range: $30.00 to $30.00/hour – Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
