Data Analytics Internship Programme

The Data and Analytics team specialise in driving data solutions to add value to our customers in a meaningful way. We are looking for exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people to join our team and drive a data led culture. This area is continually evolving and is a place where motivated employees thrive and where employee ownership and accountability leads to meaningful results.

In our journey to reposition data as a service, this team is focussing on creating increased commercial value for our organisation. And to do that, we are investing in the best Data skills. We’re building a team of leading Data Analysts who are passionate about innovation to enable the group’s platform and partner to drive value for our clients – this will enable the progress in Africa we all want to see.

There is high demand for Data skills in the market. This is a skill you want to have on your CV and the possibilities are endless.

Skills you can learn include – Analytics, Reporting & Dashboard Fundamentals; Data Visualisation Literacy; Data Analytics Literacy; Power BI; Tableau; Clickview & Salesforce Einstein; SQL queries; Core Python; R; Visualisation with Python & R; Communication with Data

If you are passionate about Analysing Data and want to get hands on exposure with the guidance and coaching from our Data Analyst Leads to work on projects such as- Performing premigration/predevelopment analysis to create specification of a solution; assist Software Development and Data Engineering team in building their solutions; lays down the runway of detailed requirements for the development team in terms of definition of the solutions, by running collaboration and brainstorming sessions . Qualifications

• Completed Tertiary Qualification in any Technology related field (Degree)
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
• Not be registered on any other learnership
• Not be studying at any other institution

Start Date:                 1 June 2024
Duration:                    18 Months (Fixed Term Contract)
Learner Stipend:        R10000 per month plus Student Medical Aid
