Position Overview The Data Engineering Intern will join Invenergy’s Enterprise Analytics & AI (EAAI) team, which builds the data and AI infrastructure that powers analytics across Invenergy’s business units. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will help design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows that enable our data scientists and business users to turn raw data into insights. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern data technologies, contribute to real projects supporting renewable energy development, and learn best practices in data engineering at an enterprise scale.

Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines to ingest, transform, and prepare data for analytics and AI use cases. Work with structured and unstructured datasets from systems across Invenergy’s wind, solar, storage, and corporate operations. Support automation and process improvement by building repeatable workflows and scripts.

Collaborate with data scientists, data visualization specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and consistency. Learn and apply data governance, version control, and best practices for secure data management. Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
