The aim of our Internal Control organization is to provide reasonable assurance about the efficiency of our operations; reliability of financial reporting and compliance with laws, regulations of policies.

In this exciting role you will be part of our 2nd line defence you will provide guidance to operational teams as well as challenging our policies and standards as needed. Additionally you will report to our ExCom on implementation of controls, action plans, etc.

Reporting to the Process and Data Analytics lead, the Process and Data Analytics expert will support Internal Controls Key risk indicators and process monitoring objectives.

Main responsibilities

• Business Needs Assessment – Collaborate closely with finance and internal controls departments to understand their objectives, challenges, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business needs into actionable data analysis tasks.
• Leverage data analysis techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends from complex datasets.
• Interpret analytical findings in the context of financial performance, risk management, and compliance.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, process teams and  internal control teams
• Clearly articulate technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and visualizations.
• Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to develop data models, algorithms, and analytical solutions that address business needs.
• Ensure that data solutions align with business requirements and provide actionable insights for decision-making in finance and internal controls.

ABOUT YOU

Experience:

• Proven experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role, with a focus on finance and internal controls.
• Experience in tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R

Soft and technical skills:

• Knowledge and experience in SAP data
• Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, actionable insights.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Languages: Fluent English
