We are excited to offer a Data Analyst for Technical Project Management Internship for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in data analysis and technical project management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong interest in data analysis, project coordination, and a willingness to learn and grow.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

    • Data Analysis: Assist in conducting data analysis to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that contribute to project objectives.
    • Project Support: Collaborate with the project manager and cross-functional teams to support project planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Data Visualization: Assist in creating clear and concise data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
    • Documentation: Help in preparing project documentation, status reports, and presentations for team meetings and stakeholders.
    • Communication: Contribute to effective communication within the team and assist in translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
    • Learning and Development: Engage in learning opportunities to improve data analysis skills, project management techniques, and industry knowledge.
    • Task Coordination: Assist in tracking project tasks, timelines, and milestones to ensure projects are on track.
    • Problem Solving: Collaborate on troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to data analysis and project management.
    • Continuous Improvement: Suggest ideas for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency of data analysis workflows.

Education and experience

Currently pursuing a degree in one of the following fields or a related discipline

  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in data science
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in information technology
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on Analytics or Project Management
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or Statistics with coursework in Data Analysis
  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in engineering with relevant coursework

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools, such as Excel, Python, Business Intelligence tool, Microsoft Project Online.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about project management methodologies and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to take initiative and proactively contribute to projects.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Prior internship experience or coursework related to data analysis or project management is beneficial.
