The Opportunity

Under the direction of Site Quality Operations Manager., you will maintain and reports supply and inventory levels for materials and products in the Distribution Center.  Perform physical counts of product in the warehouse. May be trained to use lift equipment.  May perform audits in areas of the Distribution Center.  Researches inventory discrepancies and irregularities, reconciles errors, and documents inventory findings as appropriate.  Identify inventory shortages and reports findings. Trained Equipment Operator. May participate in SDN testing.  You may coordinate data entry activities for department and provide direction to Dept. Assistants. Coordinate all efforts with regards to PAF processing. Coordinates training efforts and updates job aides. Support the QVC Difference in the performance of all job responsibilities.

Your Impact

  • Design and update inventory reports using spreadsheet/database software such as Excel, Access, Data Warehouse, and Microsoft Office. 

  •  Develop data mining tools for IC team usage.

  • Analyze inventory-related statistics to identify problems and correct inventory variances.  Research the issue to determine which information will illustrate where, when, how, and why the problem is occurring; gather the appropriate data; and create reports for management.

  •   Review variance recounts from row counts and special request cycle counts to determine inventory corrective actions.

  •   Review operational SOPs to support audit/observation completion and accuracy

  • Help with the yearly physical reconciliation process and prepare appropriate reports for management review.

  •  May perform audits in areas of the Distribution Center.

  •  May participate in SDN testing.

What You Bring

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience is required. 

  • Design and update inventory reports using spreadsheet/database software such as Excel, Access, Data Warehouse and MS Office

  • Develop data mining tools/resources for IC team usage.
     

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.

This role requires onsite presence at our Ontario facility 5 days a week.
