As an IT manager within the Enterprise Resource and Project Management organization, you’ll lead a team of 8-10 Associate Project Managers to oversee the Commercial Lines project portfolio. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the performance and quality of all projects within the portfolio, fostering strong consultative relationships with stakeholders, and driving the career growth of the team. You’ll provide leadership and foster accountability throughout the project lifecycle, engaging with IT and business sponsors to meet portfolio objectives, analyzing project performance to achieve business value and quality targets, aligning staffing to priority projects for both business needs and career development, recruiting and developing talent, and leading organizational improvements. Additionally, you’ll implement lean processes and driving efficiency through AI tools and techniques.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for a meeting and/or training. Must-have qualificationsMinimum four years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e. g. , Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of one year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project deliveryPreferred skills:Demonstrated recent experience directly or indirectly managing a team of project managers, or technical professionals, with a proven track record of leadership development and formation of highly engaged teams.

Deep knowledge of project management tools and methods across the application development lifecycle, and broad experience in project delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Lean leadership mindset, along with general awareness of AI tools and usage. Strong risk management and critical thinking skills to identify risks and implement effective mitigation steps to ensure project and portfolio delivery results.
