Company Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, design efficient data models, and create insightful dashboards using tools such as SQL Server and Power BI. Attention to detail is crucial and an understanding of the DAX language would be highly advantageous.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand dataset requirements.
  • Design, develop, and automate scalable and efficient data marts within SQL Server.
  • Create visually appealing and insightful dashboards using Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot queries for performance improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on utilizing business intelligence tools effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in SQL Server, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
  • Experience in utilizing Power BI for creating data sets, reports, and dashboards.
  • A keen eye for detail with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the DAX language is highly advantageous.
