Junior Data Analyst
Location: Gurgaon
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Data engineer builds and optimizes the systems that allow perform proper analytics. They are responsible for the accuracy of the data as well as making it accessible to individuals who need to work with it. The data engineer ensures that any data is properly received, transformed, stored, and made accessible to other users.
Key Responsibilities:
Data modelling and design
- Applies data analysis, design, and modelling techniques to establish, modify or maintain a data structure and its associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).
Programming/software development
- Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors simple programs/scripts.
- Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work.
Key Relationships:
- Global IT
- Respective business function (GOPS, Finance, HR, Brand Marketing, Wholesale/Retail)
- HR Management
- Controlling
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Apprentice ship successfully completed in relevant IT area
- Proficient spoken and written command of English
- 1+ year of experience in Data Engineering area
- Experience with Python, Pyspark, SQL & Databricks.
