Are you the next Hospitality Media Data Analyst we are looking for?
 

About Your Business Area/Department:

Amadeus Media team is looking for Data Analyst to join our Data Engineering team. You will be building a platform that models the universe of a traveler and provides seamless integrations with our partners. You will be developing the infrastructure to monitor the quality and availability of our data sources, track data-lineage, and provide consistent data in Media reporting framework. You will adapt and employ state-of-the-art technologies.
 

Summary of the role:

You will be working collaboratively with team members in agile building production components based on the platform tech stack integrating or migrating new or existing components, contribute and collaborate in design production grade reporting platform. Leadership skills are expected for this role been able to coach and mentor colleagues.
 

In this role you’ll:

  • Work on the core part of our data platform and Datawarehouse, modelling the universe of a traveler, and providing seamless integrations with our partners.
  • Deal with complex data modelling scenarios, data gathering and report presentation in different ways (Tables, Diagrams, Dynamic reports).
  • Be part of a team responsible for the design and maintenance of our data processing pipelines, identifying proper data sources.
  • Help the Product Team, being part of Hospitality Media R&D Development Team, providing them with access to the data and supporting them during the development process.

About the candidate:

  • You will be working with data and willing to learn.
  • You are a data analyst or an engineer background who loves working with data supporting development of production-grade distributed data systems.
  • Ideally you have practical experience with data processing and reporting frameworks (Power BI, GCP Big Query).
  • Important knowledge/ experience with Relational Database.
  • Big data and data analysis (A plus)
  • Development skills in Python (A plus)
  • Have software best practices and are dedicated to ensuring quality via testing, benchmarking, and peer reviews.
  • Understand the theory behind different database technologies and data storage practices enough to make informed choices and match appropriate technologies to a given use-case.
  • Interest to continue learning and improving and you enjoy helping others grow around you.
  • Eager to understand the business logic of the company and the meaning of the data we work with.
