Overview:

The Global Meeting Services provides data support and services covering markets worldwide including US, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. The team continuously monitors and obtains relevant information on all upcoming corporate action events specifically shareholders meetings where topics such as acquisitions, mergers and demergers, election of directors and auditors might be discussed. The information collected is accurately inputted in the database and this will be generated for clients to see. Collected information is also used by other teams for further data collection and research for the ultimate issuance of ISS Vote Recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the processes by which information and data are added to or exported from production systems through electronic data feeds and other media.

• Maintain data to ensure quality of mission critical information using both proprietary applications and commonly used business software applications.

• Ensure comprehensive audit trails are in place for data that is received from or sent to production systems.

• Support development of training documentation and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent

• Knowledge in investment analysis and/or financial research, or other business-related area

• Basic analytical ability and financial understanding of investment issues

• Understanding of corporate governance issues, corporate transactions, and capital markets

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment

• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Working On-site 5days/week is the current work set-up of all Operations new hires, but may be subject to change depending on business requirements.

• Must be amenable to work either morning/mid/night shift (8AM – 5PM / 1PM – 10PM / 9PM – 6AM)

• THIS IS FOR TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OF 4 – 5 MONTHS
