YOUR ROLE
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and implementation of AI models and algorithms to address complex business challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the systematic development of data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing procedures for comprehensive data analysis;
- Collaborating closely with senior team members to contribute to the creation of robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms:
- Conducting rigorous exploratory data analysis to discern trends and patterns, facilitating valuable insights;
- Continuously expanding your skill set by learning and applying state-of-art data science techniques and tools to optimize project outcomes;
- Engaging in collaborative efforts with team members to comprehend project requirements and actively contributing to solution development;
- Participating in the deployment of predictive models and meticulously monitoring their performance;
- Communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE
- Solid academic foundation in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering, Data & AI, or Computer Sciences;
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python (Pandas), SQL, and distributed/big data processing frameworks such as Pyspark;
- Demonstrate familiarity with machine learning concepts and statistical analysis, experience with time-dependent data patterns is a plus (Time Series Analysis);
- Knowledge in data visualization and reporting tools including Seaborn, Matplotlib, plotly and Qlik Sense;
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably with AWS services, for data storage, processing, and deployment. Experience with AWS Sagemaker/EMR is a plus;
- Display a proactive approach to learning and applying emerging technologies and methodologies in data science and analytics;
- Good communication skills, contributing effectively to collaborative team environments;
- Showcase an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills;
- Fluent in English with the ability to articulate findings clearly with Business units (mandatory).
