Job Description

Leads and direct the work of other fueling personnel and gives instruction, support and training to employees.  Work consists of and includes the work of a Fueler.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards.
  • Responsible for timely and efficient delivery of fueling and deicing services.
  • Reports daily to the supervisor and/or manager detailing status of daily operations.
  • Checks equipment for unsafe conditions and takes appropriate action to remove any such conditions.
  • Fuels aircraft using hydrant carts/stationary carts/trucks or other fueling equipment.
  • Responsible for defueling as required.
  • Deices aircraft using appropriate equipment and procedures.
  • Conducts weekly safety briefings as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Valid Driver’s License, possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.

  • Knowledge of fueling and defueling procedures. 
  • Knowledge of deicing procedures. 
  • Work flex schedules.
  • Must successfully complete Company’s PST program.
  • Knowledge of fueling and defueling procedures. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as volume, weight and gallons.  Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
