ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will support the Senior Manager in Global Management Reporting & Analytics in their role to embed common definitions of Performance Steering indicators and the analysis of data for internal and external reporting.

His / her main functions will be to work with business analysts in Corporate, Regional and Divisional teams to ensure common definitions are well respected / implemented, to build consensus where necessary, and to support Business teams in change management aspects of the implementation of SSoT (Single Source of Truth).

This role will reside in the Corporate Finance function, working in close partnership with Chanel Regions (Asia, Europe, Japan, US, UK), Division Business teams and Corporate Functions (Finance, IT, Sustainability…). This role will also work closely with the business intelligence (BI) functional teams in Regions, Divisions and Corporate.

IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

  • Perform business analysis to understand the rules and particularities for the Chanel Regions and Divisions.
  • Support user acceptance testing and production validation testing.
  • Support development of new Global PowerBI dashboards.
  • Support alignment across Global, Region and Division BI reporting.
  • Run the regular refresh of Global PowerBI dashboards and associated data monitoring.
  • Monitor accuracy and quality of KPIs, and work with global stakeholders to resolve any issues.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with Global PowerBI dashboards, and work with IT and business teams around the world to identify the cause and solution.
  • Work closely and develop relationships with people in all Chanel Regions and Divisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional implementation teams working in an agile environment.
  • Support other related projects.

  • Good business analysis skills.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability, autonomy and ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong data analysis skills, using Excel, PowerBI, Power Query and/or SQL.
  • Experience with enterprise-level systems & technology.
  • Understanding of company financials.
  • An understanding of project management techniques.
  • Strong relationship building skills and proven ability to work with people around the world.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
