Lead Data Engineer
Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Data Engineer / Machine Learning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and machine learning models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data solutions and support the implementation of Microsoft Fabric.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and Py-Spark.
- Implement and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Utilize Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data solutions.
- Manage version control using GIT.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Work on the implementation of Microsoft Fabric to enhance data integration and analytics capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Py-Spark.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with GIT for version control.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, information systems or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience.
- 10 – 13 years of total work experience.
- Minimum of 9 years of IT specific experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
- Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience working on enterprise applications.
Language skills

Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
