Job Description

About the role:

  • Develop and deliver valuable reporting insights to support the vision of Commercial Excellence and the broader TR Sales Organization
  • Leverage Alteryx and other tools to create efficient and robust data lakes to support the needs of Commercial Excellence and the TR Sales Organization
  • Ability to aggregate and synthesize disparate data sets from disparate sources using current technologies such as Oracle and Alteryx
  • Understand the complexities of a large matrixed sales organization and be able to navigate to all areas within that organization to offer data and reporting solutions for all levels.
  • Think strategically and creatively to find ways to streamline existing data to consolidate and simplify the Sales Organization key data elements.
  • Build dynamic tools to provide visibility to frontline sales leaders with ease of use, accuracy, and timely reporting in mind.
  • Partner closely with sales operations and finance to execute and drive the reporting requirements for Commercial Excellence
  • Provide insightful diagnostics and actionable insights to the sales leadership team in a proactive manner by spotting trends, questioning data and asking questions to understand underlying drivers.
  • Conduct deep dives to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement and action to the Sales Organization
  • Support other Commercial Excellence initiatives as required.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business challenges.
  • Analyze large data sets to derive actionable insights and improve existing algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the Commercial Excellence reporting assets.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to explain model behaviors, outcomes, and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Drive AI user testing and adoption in Power BI in collaboration with Data Analytics team

About You:

  • 4-year college degree
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in working with Sales Data preferably from Salesforce as BI Developer, data analyst or data scientist roles with exceptional project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of TR product and customer landscape to enable balanced tradeoffs between standardization and customization across segments.
  • Advanced level skills in the following systems:  Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Power BI etc
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing machine learning models.
  • Proficiency with machine learning frameworks
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
  • Proven ability to take complex and disparate data sets and create streamlined and efficient data lakes with connected and routinized cadence.
  • Technical aptitude including knowledge of salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to team with partners from various business units
  • Superior diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with problem solving and communicating with sales channels, customers, and internal management.
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours to support everchanging demands of the business.
