More about the role​

We’re looking for a Lead Data Scientist to work on machine learning, data mining, and statistical modeling for providing predictive and prescriptive enterprise analytics. Successful candidates will be expected to guide a team of Data Scientists, investigate state of the art techniques in advanced machine learning and statistical modeling, and design, develop, and deploy state-of-art, scalable systems for innovative analytics applications

across various functional areas (e.g. Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.). Applicants will be expected to work with a diverse set of data sources, such as time series data, graph data, semi-structured and unstructured

data, and build statistical/machine-learning models in support of on-demand, real-time analytic services. The applicant should also have strong skills in explaining the analytic models and outcomes to business stakeholders.

You’ll be part of the Signify’s Enterprise Data & Analytics team, based in Bangalore.

More about you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in data science or a related field with demonstrated history of delivering analytics models and solutions

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to define data-driven solutions and measure their impact

  • Develop and deploy predictive models using statistical modelling, machine learning, deep learning techniques, evaluate model performance and make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy

  • Hands on working experience on at least one of the MLOps Platform like AWS Sagemaker, Dataiku, Data Robot would be good to have

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI would be good to have

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically
