About the Role

In this opportunity as Lead Data Scientist, you will:

  • Be a self-starter with a curiosity to explore large volumes of data.
  • Seamlessly work with various business stakeholders, understand their individual needs, and design custom solutions.
  • Have the curiosity to interrogate data, conduct independent research, utilize various techniques to analyse it and, if need be, tackle ambiguous problems with maturity
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning necessary to build various models, algorithms etc.
  • Has background in system design for end-to-end system design of the AI/ML solutions.
  • Work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues across domains and geographies.
  • Learn the business quickly.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical modelling, testing, data mining, and data science techniques
  • Knowledge of system design for an AI/ML solution with understanding of MLOps
  • Highly proficient in Python and SQL (or any other querying language)
  • Has used modelling frameworks including Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow
  • Has advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools would be great.
  • Strong logical and scientific approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner at all levels within the organization.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Lead Data Scientist if your background includes:

  • Must have at least 10+ years of experience working in the data science domain.
  • Has experience designing AI/ML solutions, building machine learning algorithms and implementing models in production.
  • 4+ years of proficient at using Python and has knowledge of querying languages like T-SQL and relational databases.
  • Previous experience working on sales and marketing data is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web services
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and able to meet and learn the changing demands of the business and projects.
  • A demonstrable ability to assimilate new information thoroughly and quickly.
  • Emotional maturity and the ability to work well under pressure.
