We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team.  As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative AI solutions, serve as a solution architect who leverages various types of AI to drive business insights and growth.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deploy AI solutions that improve business processes and decision making. 

  

Daily challenges

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities and translate them into AI solutions and products
  • Solution AI implementations, participate in RFP/RFI responses, and conduct pre-sales conversations 
  • Lead cross-functional teams and other data scientists to design and implement AI solutions that improve business processes and decision-making 
  • Design and develop end-to-end AI solutions, including AI architectures, ML engines, algorithms, data integration, and user interfaces 
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value 
  • Advise, build, and maintain scalable AIOps pipelines and operationalize AI solutions to production applications 
  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner 
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the AI space and bring innovative ideas to the team 

eXperience and skills required

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field 
  • 8+ years of experience in various AI domains such as Data Science, ML, NLP, Computer Vision
  • 1+ year of GenAI actual development, including multi-modal solutions, leveraging OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Hugging Face, Bedrock, or other models and model suites
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting AI solutions and platforms or working as an AI Solution Architect is an advantage 
  • Ability to conduct customer-facing workshops and present to high level stakeholders, utilizing strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex business challenges 
  • Experience developing advanced AI models and algorithms 
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Spark, Scala, etc 
  • Experience working with platforms and cloud-native tools such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, VertexAI, Databricks, as well as open source tools and cognitive services available on the market 
  • Experience working with toolkits and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MxNet 
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, Grafana 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
