Job Summary: Cat Digital’s Platform Algorithms team is looking for a talented and motived Lead Data Scientist that will help improve platform data by developing and delivering ML/AI models to address the most challenging data issues.
As a Lead Data Scientist, you will apply machine learning and other analytics techniques on a very large set of diverse data from IoT connected assets, our integrated network of dealers and enterprise data. What You Will Do: Experience leading projects and teams to completion. Mentor and provide guidance to other team members.
Leading, exploring, developing, promoting, and implementing various projects focused Machine Learning. Conducting research on data model optimization and algorithms to improve effectiveness and accuracy on data analyses. Interacting and collaborating with the Analytics management team, with the team members and colleagues outside the organization, including outside Cat Digital.
Reporting and presenting team results. What You Will Have: Machine Learning: Extensive knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.
Analytical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Business Statistics: Extensive knowledge of the statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results in measurable scales; ability to use statistical tools and processes to assist in making business decisions. Considerations for Top Candidates: Advanced degree in a discipline such as data science, data analytics, computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or other related degree Extensive experience in predictive analytics.
