As a Logistics Data Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the operational initiatives for all Transportation Modes covered by the Enterprise Logistics Team for EMEA region. By being part of the team, you will develop an understanding of Emerson Logistics programs, Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) systems and processes, as well as an end-to-end overview of the Emerson Supply Chain Programs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Coordinate and manage rate request related activities (spot or long-term rate) between Mode teams, Service providers, Support team and Emerson manufacturing sites and sales offices globally.
  • Provide support in data gathering, updates and data distribution to Emerson logistics teams (Market fluctuations, Fuel Surcharges). 
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports within Excel and Oracle Analytics Cloud platform.
  • Support Operational and Audit Pay Teams in all modes of transport (rates or carriers related inquiries)
  • Systems updates and maintenance (Rate uploading, savings reporting).
  • Perform analytics with data collected from different sources.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or transportation industry.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Familiarity with the following BI Tools: Oracle, Tableau, Power BI.
  • English language proficiency (written/read/spoken).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS); electronic data interchange technologies (EDI, XML, API).
  • Experience working in a matrix/global organization.
