We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in computer science, coding and machine learning. ​Our ideal ML Engineer understands the value of data, and is eager to apply ​knowledge of data ​science to its full potential in the interest of our clients. About the Role

  • You are an inquisitive data scientist who combines excellent knowledge of computer science with business acumen and communication skills
  • You feel confident about software development and coding, have strong knowledge of the latest tools and techniques and are passionate about running high-performance systems and solving issues
  • You are able to identify opportunities and problems in areas of data processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning and come with solutions
  • Thanks to your collaboration skills, you are a much-appreciated team member and can explain your work to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, troubleshoot problem areas, and complete your work on schedule
  • You deliberately choose a young, consulting firm in data science and a fast-paced team above larger, established corporate firms

Your Qualifications

As part of our team we expect you to bring the following:

  • Proven experience as a data scientist, with 3 to 5 years of working experience
  • Strong coding skills with computer science or machine learning background
  • Preferably, 3-5 years experience in a project-oriented B2B consulting organization
  • Able to productionize data models
  • On-going tracking and monitoring of performance of algorithms
  • Writing and working with API’s or user interfaces
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curiosity and excitement about new semi-undefined challenges
  • An entrepreneurial spirit thinking along how to make acmetric 1% better tomorrow
  • The ability to work and communicate fluently in English
  • The will to work full time (40 hrs/week), including 1-2 days/week in Amsterdam
