We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our MLOps team within the Data Platforms function. We have an exciting 2025 coming up, and this new hire will be a key part of supporting us through some important migrations and the growth of our ML Platform.

Your primary focus will be deploying machine learning models into production, ensuring they are robust, secure, and reliable. You will also contribute to enhancing our Machine Learning platform by building features that support scalable and automated ML workflows.

Collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers, Platform Engineers, Data Scientists, and Platform Architects, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in maintaining production Machine Learning systems while supporting platform development.

You will:

  • Implement and lead workflows for deploying ML models to production using CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines to support model building, deployment and model management.
  • Monitor the performance and reliability of ML pipelines in production, solving issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to the development of MLOps features that support scalable model workflows, including monitoring and versioning tools.

What you’ll bring:

  • A proactive approach to resolving production issues.
  • Reliable work with attention to detail, delivering to a high standard.
  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Good collaboration and teamwork, taking ownership for your work and supporting team success.
  • Good communication, able to explain technical concepts clearly to others.

We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:

  • Experience as a Machine Learning Ops Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar with a focus on deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production.
  • Familiarity with the Machine Learning lifecycle, including experimentation, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of MLOps tools such as feature stores, model registries, or experiment tracking.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience using ML frameworks and libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience implementing workflows using tools like GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Experience with containerized workflows (e.g., Docker); familiarity with AWS services such as SageMaker, S3, or Lambda is a plus.
  • Experience with model monitoring to ensure deployed models remain accurate and reliable.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.

And would love you to know or learn:

  • Experience deploying models in regulated industries such as financial services or FinTech.
  • Knowledge of security principles related to deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CDK or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch or similar) for observability.
  • Experience with Snowflake for data storage and retrieval.
