The Challenge
Adobe is looking for Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build the AI Assistant in Acrobat! As part of the Document Cloud AI organization, you would own design, implementation and deployment of production quality code that forms the core of our Sensei applications! DC AI team is looking for individuals with expertise in NLP, Recommendation Systems and Personalization to build Generative AI services for Acrobat customers that help them create and consume content effectively.
What you will do
- Survey and understand prior literature to evaluate and recommend the best approaches for solving problem at hand.
- Write production code at scale, testing and productizing new algorithms.
- Collaborate with a team of Data Scientists, Engineers and Product Managers.
- Ensure a scalable and reliable cloud service with observability, logging and tracing to enable quick detection, understanding and resolution of run-time issues.
- Leverage Generative AI models for text generation and tailor them to generate content for marketing use-cases.
- Work on solving challenges in the space of prompt and response optimization leading to generation of relevant content.
- Fine-tuning and alignment of LLMs leading to generation of relevant content.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Computer Science with 5+ years of work experience with specialization in NLP or relevant experience.
- Experience working in Deep Learning and Generative AI with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Coding expertise in Python.
- Expertise in Personalization and Recommender Systems.
- Coding expertise in one or more of Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch or equivalent
- Expertise in basics of Computer Science, Data Structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of probability, statistics and Machine Learning techniques.
- Excellent problem solving ability and social skills.
- Ability to work in teams.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $135,200 — $250,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
