Location: Phoenix, LA, remote USA

Division: Ticketmaster US

Line Manager: Senior Director Data Engineering (Client Analytics)

Contract Terms: Internship

Ticketmaster’s Pricing & Distribution team is an industry leading product and service provider focused on unlocking the ability for our clients to sell their products to the right customers at the right time and channel in ways that maximize yield via data driven revenue and demand optimization.

THE JOB

We are seeking a Machine Learning Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in data integration and automation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on data integration projects and support our data team in sourcing and consolidating data from various internal sources. You will use your skills to create small processes that acquire, transform, and present data points for analytical decision making.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders to identify ML needs and use cases.
  • You will develop and create prescriptive, descriptive, and predictive ML models.
  • Use Python to create a faster more capable AI.
  • You will create various descriptive and prescriptive analytics models.
  • Use ML flow to architecture to manage model lifecycle.
  • Validate the model accuracy and improve performance using performance tuning
  • Stay current with AI knowledge, trends, and regulations.
  • Collect, organize, and present progress with team leadership and stakeholders.
     

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, AI, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and experience in Python
  • Familiarity using version control systems like git.
  • Knowledge in using ML libraries XGboost, SKlearn.
  • Knowledge in prompt engineering and RAG architecture.
  • Desire to create client centric data products
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$25/hourly
