Mō te tūranga – About the role
As the Manager Automation & Data, you will be part of the Transformation and Change team within Institutional Operations. This role will provide a lot of variety, as part of a cross-skilled team responsible for driving improvement initiatives and projects across the Institutional Operations business and leveraging data and automation to improve outcomes.

Role Type: 10-month secondment / fixed-tem / Full-time
Role Location: Auckland – Tāmaki Makaurau / Wellington – Te Whanganui-a-Tara

As the Manager Automation & Data, you will:
- A self-motivated individual, you will have a thirst for knowledge and a passion for creating real value
- Manage the Institutional Operations Automation solutions (BOTs), working with the platform team to ensure platform quality and reliability is well managed for end users, and reporting on performance
- Asset Lifecycle Management for Institutional Operations, including regular reporting, planning and obtaining funding
- Collaboratively drive automation & data initiatives within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and internal policies, adhering to data management practices, ensuring data integrity, security and accessibility.
Ōu Pūkenga? – What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience with A360 (Automation Anywhere product)
- Experience in data analysis and engineering (SQL, Tableau, Teradata, SAS, Data Modelling)
- Experience in both designing and developing automation solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java Script, Python, and VBScript
- Strong understanding of automation technologies (e.g. Automation Anywhere, Macros, data analytics, and machine learning)
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices.
- Good experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Analysis, Business Process-Reengineering, Change Management, Digital Delivery, Data Analysis
